Adapters for Older Sensors
Vernier sensors purchased prior to the introduction of LabPro can probably be adapted to work with
LabPro. Most of our analog sensors were previously manufactured with a round, 5-pin “DIN” plug.
If you have an older DIN sensor, you will need a DIN-to-BTA adapter (order code DIN-BTA). This
chart shows some of the adapters or replacement cables that can be used with other sensors. You
may have sensors that do not appear in this table. Contact us to discuss your situation.
Sensors Purchased Prior to 2000 Adapter or Cable Order Code
Vernier Analog 5-pin DIN sensors DIN to BTA adapter DIN-BTA
Vernier Photogate (with removable cable) Digital Photogate Cable PG-BTD
Radiation Monitors Radiation Cable RAD-BTD
Motion Detector (with removable cable) Motion Detector Cable MDC-BTD
Motion Detector (without removable cable) CBL-RJ11 Adapter CBL-RJ11
Rotary Motion Sensor Rotary Motion Adapter ROT-BTD
